The Summer Reading Program activities came to a close on June 22 with a Craft Day at the Library. Paige Gasper and our guest helper, Haley Wellman, rounded up the Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st graders upstairs for a story time, games and making boats for outside play. With the emphasis on water this summer, one thinks about conservation and ways to save this precious resource. On June 15, the Library invited Richard Renner, one of America’s beloved clowns to entertain the kids with his REcycle, REuse and REduce garbage man show.
